The Role

Our predictions are only as good as our data. You'll find, collect, verify, and organize admissions data from Nigerian universities: past JAMB cut-off marks, post-UTME requirements, course competitiveness, and admission trends. You'll turn scattered, messy information into clean, trusted datasets that our engineers can build on.

Program

• 8 to 12 weeks, remote, about 6 to 8 hours a week
• Weekly check-in and data quality reviews

• Unpaid. You receive a signed certificate, a portfolio-ready research project, and a LinkedIn recommendation for strong performers
• Standout contributors may be offered a longer-term role

Who We Want

We're looking for careful, experienced researchers, not people who just copy and paste. You must have:

• A proven sample of past research or data work, such as a dataset, report, or analysis you built
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including cleaning, formatting, and organizing large datasets

• The ability to find reliable sources, cross-check them, and document where every number came from
• Attention to detail, since a single wrong cut-off mark can mislead a student

• Familiarity with the Nigerian university system, JAMB, and post-UTME is a strong plus
• Basic SQL or Python for data cleaning is a plus

• An understanding of how AI models rely on good data
• Strong communication and reliability in remote work
