Production Planning Engineer

Coordinate the production workflow for multiple products and define production priorities and delivery dates in coordination with the Factory Manager.

Prepare, manage, and finalize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on production requirements and demand.

Develop monthly production plans and prepare weekly loading plans for all production lines.

Monitor production activities on a daily basis, track plan completion, and take corrective actions to overcome production obstacles and delays.

Develop Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to evaluate available production capacity and ensure that requirements can be achieved.

Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to maintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials) for manufactured products.

Prepare and follow up on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure material availability according to production plans.

Monitor production capacity, machine utilization, and workflow to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Analyze production workflows, space requirements, and equipment utilization to support efficient production planning.

Monitor Plan vs. Actual production and analyze deviations, delays, and capacity constraints.

Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.

Adjust production schedules when there are unexpected changes in demand, material availability, production capacity, or operational conditions.

Prepare regular production planning reports and KPIs and provide recommendations to improve planning accuracy and production performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , preferably Production, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.

2–7 years of relevant experience in Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in Production Planning, MPS, MRP, and RCCP .

Solid understanding of production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and material requirements .

Practical experience with ERP Systems , with Odoo ERP experience preferred.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and production data analysis; Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Strong ability to analyze Plan vs. Actual , production performance, capacity, and deviations.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data and make informed decisions.

Good understanding of BOMs, production orders, material availability, and manufacturing workflows .

Excellent coordination and communication skills with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment .

Strong time management skills and ability to meet production deadlines.

Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to add value and continuously improve production planning processes .
