Field Service Technician

Job Description: Join our growing Service Team

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our friendly and growing team.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be travelling nationwide to install, service and repair machinery used within the recycling industry, including balers and compactors.

What you will be doing: Servicing and repairing existing equipment Installing and commissioning new and refurbished machinery nationwide Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Working as part of a team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently Providing accurate daily service and job reports Working with electronic and mechanical equipment Providing a prompt, professional service to customers Training machinery operators on the safe and correct use of equipment

What we are looking for: Experience in a similar Field Service Technician role is a strong advantage Electrical, mechanical and/or hydraulic experience is an advantage Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills A practical, hands-on approach Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Someone who takes pride in their work and strives to get the job right every time Good computer skills Full clean Irish B driving licence Safe Pass Good command of the English language Must have the necessary permits and authorisation to work in Ireland Must be 25 years or older for company vehicle insurance purposes Willingness to travel nationwide
