Quality Control Inspector
Job Summary Auto Truck Co. is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspection activities throughout the manufacturing process. The role includes inspection of incoming materials, injection-molded plastic parts, assembly operations, finished products, packaging, and warehouse stock before shipment. The candidate must have strong hands-on inspection experience and be comfortable working directly on the factory floor. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming raw materials and purchased components.
Perform inspection of injection-molded plastic parts.
Inspect mirrors, lighting products, body parts, rubber parts, metal parts, and assembled components.
Perform in-process inspection during production and assembly.

Surface finish
Appearance
Assembly quality
Functional requirements
Use measuring and inspection equipment including: Vernier calipers
Micrometers
Height gauges
Go/No-Go gauges
Jigs
Fixtures
Templates
Other measuring tools
Compare products against drawings, samples, specifications, and quality standards.
Detect defects and non-conforming products.
Record inspection results and prepare quality reports.
Separate and identify rejected or non-conforming material.
Follow up corrective actions with production teams.
Perform final inspection before packaging and shipment.
Inspect packaging quality and labeling.
Support warehouse quality inspection.
Ensure measuring tools are properly used and calibrated.
Report repeated defects and production quality problems to the Quality Manager.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective-action activities.
Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
Job Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Technical Education , or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Practical experience in dimensional inspection.
Good knowledge of measuring tools and inspection equipment.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to identify defects and quality problems.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to work on the production floor and follow shift requirements.
