*Compensation:* $60,000 plus 1% commission uncapped

*Key Responsibilities*

*Territory & Business Development*

  • Lead end-to-end prospecting, closing, and account management for distributors across Eastern Canada.
  • Partner with distributor sales teams in the field, conducting joint client calls to win and lock down major accounts.
  • Identify prospective B2B clients through market research, business directories, industry leads, and trade events.
  • Contact new and existing clients to evaluate their flame-resistant (FR) garment and work glove needs, positioning Atlas Workwear as the optimal supplier.

*Consultative Sales & Technical Advising*

  • Act as a trusted safety advisor, recommending technical specs and product lines aligned with specific site hazards and industry regulations.
  • Present product features, capabilities, and material performance metrics with confidence.
  • Address client inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, volume discounts, and application details.

Drive contract negotiations, structure agreements, and oversee order execution for seamless delivery.

*Relationship Management & Strategy*

  • Nurture post-sale relationships to maximize customer retention, drive recurring orders, and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership and marketing to refine selling strategies, share field feedback, and maximize market share.
  • Track sales metrics, maintain active pipeline forecasting, and report progress directly to the National Sales Manager.

*Key Requirements*

  • *Experience:* 3+ years of outside sales or sales management experience specifically in Flame-Resistant (FR) garments or work gloves, sold primarily through distribution channels.
  • *Industry Focus:* Proven track record selling directly into Heavy Industry?specifically Oil & Gas, Electrical, Utilities, Mining, or Drilling.
  • *Track Record:* 5+ years of overall outside sales experience with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue targets.
  • *Location & Mobility:* B Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with a valid driver?s license and full willingness to travel across the territory as required.
  • *Mindset & Fit:* A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces change, and brings a driven, resourceful, and personable energy to the team.
  • *Communication & Tech Skills:* Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, confident in writing clear, professional client proposals and utilizing digital sales tools.
