Port Operation Officer

Responsibilities:

Coordinate vessel arrival, berthing, operations, and departure. Handle crew change, husbandry, and port documentation. Liaise with NPA, NIMASA, Customs, Immigration, terminals, and other stakeholders Coordinate vessel supplies, spares, transportation, and other port requirements. Maintain accurate operational records and reports. Ensure compliance with port and maritime regulations.

Requirements:

A minimum of an HND in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Port Management, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field. A minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in port/shipping operations. Experience in a shipping company or maritime agency is highly preferred Practical knowledge of vessel berthing, crew change, husbandry, and customs handling Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
