Staff Nurse

Ardfoyle Convent, Ballintemple (Near- Pairc Ui Chaoimh). Experienced Staff Nurse required to join our nursing team, in our purpose built 13 single bedroom unit. Registered General Nurse- will have a nursing qualification and be registered with NMBI, with a valid NMBI Pin. Normally working 1 Day per week- 12 Hour shift - includes working 1 in 4 weekends (+ Holiday / Absence Cover).

Excellent clinical skills and use of best practice & promoting patient centered care. Maintaining consistently high standards of professional and ethical responsibility. Safe Medication Management. Infection Prevention & Control. Effective management of patient health, needs, wellbeing and continuity of care. Oversee HCA's and liaising with the CNM and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Strong computer & documentation skills. Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written) Strong communication and listening skills. Applicant must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU. Previous experience in working with the elderly in a similar position is an advantage but not necessary.
