Draughtsman

A Tier 1 fit out and build contractor in Dubai is hiring a Draughtsman to join their design team. The role involves producing AutoCAD drawings from client and consultant briefs, through to fully coordinated shop drawings for site.

• Produce plans, sections, details, specifications and schedules in AutoCAD, and revise to client and consultant comments until approved
• Survey site and produce as built drawings
• Coordinate details across trades, including MEP, and issue shop drawings ready for execution
• Support architects, project managers and quantity surveyors with design information as projects progress
• Work to set drawing standards and maintain consistency of layout, style and presentation
• Check deliverables against specification, including project variations and amendments-
• 4 to 8 years on AutoCAD, ideally construction or interior fit out
• Diploma in Architecture
• Strong knowledge of construction and engineering detailing
• Able to coordinate design across trades and produce clear shop drawings for execution
• BIM an advantage
