Arcadia Global School, Dubai is a dedicated and compassionate secondary ELL teacher who can join immediately. The successful candidate will be working as part of the school's inclusion team, ensuring students have the required support to maximise their full school experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an ELL teacher.

Experience working with ELL students in diverse educational settings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with British educational standards and regulations related to inclusion.

Committed and dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the school’s vision, mission and values.

An advocate for inclusive practice, with a passion for enriching the opportunities of all learners.

Core responsibilities

Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies for ELL students.

Provide direct support and coaching to teachers on best practices for integrating ELL students into mainstream classrooms.

Assist in creating individualized learning plans (ILPs) for ELL students.

Work with ELL students one-on-one or in small groups to provide additional support and intervention.

Coordinate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address concerns.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ELL programs and strategies.

In accordance with the new KHDA regulations, AGS will obtain two professional references, including one from the most recent employer. All schools in Dubai are legally obliged to provide references to other schools in Dubai when a safeguarding reference is requested.
