We are looking to appoint an experienced English Language and Literature teacher to join our team in January 2027 or earlier, depending on availability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for an English Language and Literature teacher specializing in GCSE. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum, ensuring students develop strong analytical, writing, and reading comprehension skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and resources, differentiating instruction for diverse learning needs, setting and marking homework and assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role involves actively tracking student progress, communicating with parents and caregivers when appropriate, and contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development. The teacher will also participate in school events, pastoral care, and professional development activities that support the wider school community and continuous improvement in teaching practice.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature with PGCE or equivalent is a minimum requirement.

Qualified teacher with 3-5 years of experience in delivering the National Curriculum for England to GCSE level students.
