Accountant (Part-Time)
Reporting directly to our fractional CFO and working closely with HR, this part-time position anchors our financial execution while managing critical HR-related financial operations. You will ensure our books remain pristine while managing transactional payroll, digital employee claims, and grant compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting, data entries, full book closing via QuickBooks Online (QBO), and prepare month-end 3-statement reports.
- Process Accounts Payable (AP), including purchase orders, invoice verification, and final cash disbursements.
- Execute payroll and statutory contributions (e.g., CPF, IR8A), maintaining strict compliance with MOM mandates.
- Administer employee expense claims strictly through the PeopleCentral HRMS, verifying receipt integrity before the CFO's financial execution.
- Maintain pristine, audit-ready financial and employee records to support quarterly GST returns, corporate secretarial compliance, and workforce government grant claims (e.g., WSG P-Max, CCP).
- Maintain and update accounting processes and policies.
- Handle corporate secretarial-related duties, liaising with corporate secretaries (with extra remuneration).
- Prepare and file quarterly GST returns.
- Clerical support and admin duties.
- Any other ad hoc duties or errands as assigned, e.g. liaise with banks, IRAS, ACRA.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, prioritizing depth of technical accounting knowledge over sheer years of experience.
- Minimum 2 years of double-entry bookkeeping experience, with proven capability handling Singapore payroll, MOM regulations, and CPF calculations.
- Familiarity with HRMS platforms is highly advantageous.
- High ethical standards, no adverse legal records, and strict adherence to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) regarding sensitive employee and company data.
