Job Summary
The HR officer reports to the HR & Admin Manager to support recruitment and deployment of manpower to client sites, administer salary payments, and manage remuneration benefits in compliance with company policy and employment law.
Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment activities by posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews to ensure timely hiring
- Administer onboarding processes, maintain accurate employee records, and manage employment documentation to support workforce compliance
- Process payroll, administer leave, and manage employee benefits to ensure accurate and timely remuneration
- Support work pass applications, renewals, and regulatory submissions to maintain legal workforce status
- Maintain HR databases and personnel records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist in handling employee enquiries and disciplinary matters to support employee relations and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF regulations, and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements to ensure legal compliance
- Proficiency in using Workforce Management App and HR systems for attendance tracking and payroll processing
- Understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition processes to support effective hiring
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information securely
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees and facilitate HR processes
Other Information
Duration of Traineeship/Attachment Offered - 6 months
This position is open for mid-career individuals (mature, 40 years and above).
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
At least 2–3 years of relevant HR experience, with good exposure across multiple HR functions.
