đ About the team
The People Operations team is the backbone of Alma's People function â keeping everything running smoothly from a new hire's first day to their last, and making sure our processes are compliant, efficient, and built to scale.
You'll report to Limthary, Head of People Ops, and work at the crossroads of HR administration, payroll, systems, and data. This is a senior IC role where you'll be a trusted go-to for employees and a key partner for cross-functional teams.

đŒ About the job
Own HR Administration & Payroll
Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes (DPAE, medical check-ups, stakeholder coordination, and more)
Maintain accurate employee records, employment contracts, and amendments
Handle all employee administrative documents throughout the lifecycle
Manage visa applications and related administrative authorizations
Oversee the administrative management of EoR employees
Track and update leave balances and manage absence-related topics
Be the first point of contact for employee administrative requests
Participate in daily payroll activities
Lead & contribute to HR Projects
Contribute to cross-functional People projects and key annual cycles (salary review, talent review, etc.)
Maintain and improve process documentation and the People knowledge base
Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization of our processes
Support the implementation of new tools and vendors
Own HR Systems & People Data
Maintain and evolve our core HR tools (Lattice, Lucca)
Own quarterly HR reporting and analysis, and translate insights into actionable plans
Share People data and reports with key stakeholders (Internal Control, RevOps, etc.)
Handle mandatory annual reporting obligations (INSEE, ĂgalitĂ© Pro Index, BDESE, CSSCT, etc.)
Serve as the main point of contact with the Data team for our Looker dashboard

To succeed in this job
7+ years of experience in People Operations, with solid hands-on expertise across HR admin, payroll, and HR systems
Strong command of French HR compliance and reporting obligations (INSEE, ĂgalitĂ© Pro Index, BDESE, CSSCT, etc.)
Data-driven mindset with experience in HR analytics and reporting
Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation â you actively use them to improve your workflows
Fluent in French and English â you work comfortably across teams in both languages
Strong project management skills: organized, rigorous, and able to juggle multiple priorities

Anticipate issues before they arise and bring pragmatic, fresh thinking to the table
Have experience implementing or evolving HRIS tools
