Allata is a global consulting and technology services firm founded in 2016, with 350+ employees across the US, India, and Argentina. We partner with some of the world's largest enterprises to move AI from idea to production — building intelligent agents, data foundations, and governance frameworks that scale. Our teams work at the intersection of strategy, engineering, data, and design, helping clients modernize their technology, unlock data value, and create meaningful digital experiences. At Allata, you'll join an agile, cross-functional team that works closely alongside clients — making a real impact and building lasting partnerships.

Allata is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a client product team and contribute to the development of a modern, cloud-based technology platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams in an environment that values clean engineering practices, continuous delivery, and thoughtful use of modern development tools. The ideal candidate combines strong full stack fundamentals with a product mindset, takes ownership of the quality of their work, and knows how to leverageAI coding assistants effectively while applying sound technical judgment to their output.

Integrate services through REST APIs, including Feign-based integrations, as well as event-driven communication using AWS SQS/SNS.

Write and maintain automated tests using Jest, JUnit, and Mockito as part of every development cycle.

Deliver functionality behind feature flags using tools such as ConfigCat.

Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards through Bitbucket pull requests.

Keep CI pipelines healthy and address build or test failures promptly.

Use AI coding assistants as part of the daily development workflow to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, and code review.

Validate AI-generated code and recommendations, taking ownership of the quality, security, maintainability, and correctness of the final implementation.

Familiarity with event-driven architectures and cloud-based services.

Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools in real-world software development projects.

Demonstrated judgment when working with AI-generated code, including knowing when to validate, modify, or override AI recommendations.

Nice to have: Experience working with Nx monorepos.

Experience with AWS CDK.

Experience with Cypress or Playwright.

Experience with Storybook.

Experience building LLM-powered product features or integrating generative AI capabilities into applications.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional and client-facing teams
