SUPERVISOR AND GENERAL FOREMAN (M&E)
Job Title: Supervisor and General Foreman (Mechanical & Electrical) Salary Range: SGD 3,600 – SGD 4,200 per month
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works at construction sites.
- Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth site operations.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Supervise workers and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and other site teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Inspect completed works, identify defects, and arrange corrective actions where necessary.
- Monitor project progress, material usage, and manpower productivity.
- Maintain daily site reports and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Ensure proper installation and coordination of electrical, plumbing, ACMV, fire protection, and other relevant M&E systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in M&E construction supervision or general foreman duties.
- Good knowledge of M&E installation, construction drawings, and site coordination.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site workers and coordinate multiple work activities.
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
