Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated warehouse and logistics specialist (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods across international borders, optimizing supply chain processes, and supporting the growth of our robotics business.
Your Responsibilities
Warehouse
Receive and prepare goods for shipping
Unload and Load Trucks from our locations in Munich via Forklift Operations
Supply Chain Optimization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing the supply chain and minimizing lead times.
Evaluate and select third-party logistics partners to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Shipping and Distribution:
Coordinate and negotiate with freight forwarders, carriers, and shipping agents to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that may arise during transit.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen events that may impact logistics operations.
Cost Management:
Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or efficiency.
Negotiate favorable terms with logistics service providers and suppliers.
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain open and effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
Collaborate with other departments to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
Proven experience in logistics and import/export management, preferably in the technology or robotics industry
Experience working in Germany and/or Western Europe is preferred
In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluency in German and English is a must
Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
