Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), budgets, and tender documents .
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope and cost requirements.
- Obtain, evaluate and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with tender preparation, bid analysis, and subcontractor selection.
- Manage variation orders, progress claims, subcontractor claims and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and financial commitments.
- Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of costs, contracts, variations, and commercial correspondence.
- Perform other related QS duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering , or a related field.
- Minimum 3-years experience in Quantity Surveying experience in Singapore.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, claims, variation orders and final accounts.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, good knowledge in local standards & requirements.
