early childhood educator (ECE)

ABC N ME Daycare and Learning Centre is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated *ECE *to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that support children?s learning and development.
• Encourage children?s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and daily activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Follow all daycare policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Support daily routines including meals, nap time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Observe and respond to each child?s individual needs and interests.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide quality childcare.

Qualifications

• ECE diploma/certification.
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting is an asset.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
• A caring, patient, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and creating a positive learning environment.
