Warehouse Operative - Leigh on Sea

Location - Leigh-On-Sea

Hours: Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 08:00 -15:30

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Coordinate daily dispatch of goods to customers, ensuring on-time delivery.
Prepare shipping documents, including air waybills, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customers paperwork
Assist with resolving shipping issues, delays, or customs problems as they arise.
Ensure packaging is compliant with aviation and regulations for shipping aircraft components.
Schedule pickups and manage relationships with freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics providers.

Entry Level Certificate, ESOL Skills for Life, Functional Skills Entry Level English, Maths & ICT.
Ability to understand work instructions, maintenance manuals, and customer specifications.
Basic PC skills.
Basic understanding and working knowledge of tools and equipment.
A positive and professional attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and assist in routine maintenance tasks.
Familiarity with safety protocols.
Can handle simple tasks like visual inspections or basic repairs.
Basic understanding of metrology equipment.
