Job Summary
We seek passionate and responsible IBDP Physics teachers to deliver engaging lessons aligned with our curriculum, foster student relationships, and inspire academic progress and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Deliver IBDP Physics lessons by executing detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Develop and refine lesson materials to enhance student learning and provide actionable feedback that drives measurable academic improvement
- Build rapport with students to motivate engagement and unlock their academic potential
- Collaborate in curriculum development and conduct systematic reviews to improve academic programs
- Design examination and assessment papers, including question papers, resit papers, and answer keys, ensuring alignment with learning objectives
- Administer invigilation duties, accurately mark exams and assessments, and maintain comprehensive records of student results
- Perform moderation duties for other academic modules to ensure consistency and quality of assessment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience teaching Physics at IGCSE and IBDP levels with familiarity in IGCSE or International Baccalaureate curricula
- Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines; Master’s degree is an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to teach in multilingual environments and conduct academic assessments effectively
- Proficient in delivering online lessons using platforms such as Zoom and skilled in using software applications and productivity tools
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills to engage diverse learners
- Highly motivated with a positive work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in related subjects
