Bar Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and create an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands both the craft and the business of running a successful bar. You will be responsible for beverage quality, team performance, service standards, inventory control, and the overall profitability of the bar. Role Overview The Bar Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring consistently high standards across beverage preparation, service, presentation, hygiene, and guest experience. You will lead and develop the bar team, manage beverage costs and inventory, maintain strong supplier relationships, and work closely with the management team to drive sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the bar
Ensure consistently high standards of cocktails, beverages, service, and presentation
Develop and maintain the cocktail and beverage programme in line with Noa Lounge’s concept
Train, coach, and motivate bartenders and service staff
Manage bar scheduling, manpower deployment, and productivity
Monitor beverage sales, gross profit, beverage cost, wastage, and stock variance
Conduct regular stocktaking and maintain accurate inventory records
Control portioning, recipes, purchasing, and product usage to minimise wastage
Work closely with suppliers to maintain product quality and competitive pricing
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and licensing compliance
Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure prompt resolution of service issues
Monitor daily sales and operational performance and take corrective action where required
Support promotions, events, new drink launches, and other initiatives to drive revenue
Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and management team to achieve overall business objectives
Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant bar or beverage experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage operations
Proven experience managing a busy bar or lounge environment
Strong understanding of beverage costing, inventory control, and stock management
Excellent leadership and people-management skills
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of bar profitability
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Well-organised, responsible, and hands-on
Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
