Job Aim : -Support ZC community. -improve library services. Responsibilities : Assists with the cataloging and processing of library materials in accordance with RDA and applicable cataloging standards, and prepares new materials for shelving.

Assists users in locating books, library materials, and other information resources.

Performs routine circulation activities, including issuing, returning, and renewing library materials.

Organizes and shelves library materials according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system.

Maintains a safe, welcoming, and orderly library environment and ensures compliance with library policies, rules, and regulations.

Assists users in accessing and navigating computers, the library catalog, online databases, electronic resources, and other digital library services.

Assists users in identifying and meeting their research and information needs.

Provides basic reference and information assistance, answers routine inquiries, and refers complex research questions to the appropriate librarian.

Uses the Integrated Library System (ILS) to support routine library operations and services.

Assists in supervising study rooms and maintaining library facilities and equipment.

Reports damaged, lost, or missing library materials and follows up according to established procedures Performs other related duties as assigned .

Bachelor’s degree in library and information science.

More than 2 years of experience

Basic knowledge of library operations, services, and procedures.

Familiarity with library classification systems (Dewey Decimal / Library of Congress).

Good command of written and spoken English.

Willingness and ability to work night shifts, as required.

Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system.

Knowledge of RFID technology and its applications in library operations.

Basic knowledge of electronic resources, online databases, and library discovery systems.
