Role Summary As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide strategic and practical legal support across IP strategy, commercial contracts and general corporate matters. You will work closely with R&D and business teams to develop and manage the company's IP strategy and landscape, provide legal support in commercial negotiations, and manage legal and commercial risks across Singapore and other markets. Key Responsibilities Develop and support the company's overall IP strategy, aligning IP planning with business objectives, technology development and commercialization. Advise on IP ownership, protection, licensing, commercialization and use of intellectual property across business and R&D activities. Draft, review and negotiate sales agreements, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, technology cooperation agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts. Identify and assess legal and contractual risks, and provide practical, commercially sound recommendations to protect the company's interests. Provide legal advice on day-to-day business operations, corporate matters, regulatory requirements and cross-border activities. Work closely with R&D, sales, business development and management teams, and coordinate with external legal counsel on specialist or jurisdiction-specific matters. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification. Admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor / qualified Singapore legal practitioner. At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within a technology, semiconductor, automotive, AI, software or other technology-driven company. Strong experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, particularly sales and business agreements. Demonstrated experience in IP strategy and planning. Strong understanding of IP ownership, licensing, confidentiality and technology-related contractual matters. Strong commercial acumen, legal drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide practical and business-oriented advice. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
