PURPOSE

Reports to: Leadership Team

We are seeking a highly motivated Ticketing& Revenue Specialist to lead ticket strategy, pricing, and distribution for our table tennis events. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full ticketing lifecycle — from setting pricing tiers and choosing the right sales channels, to driving attendance through promotions, and reporting on what is working. You will work closely with the events, marketing, and finance teams to turn ticket sales into a reliable, growing revenue stream while keeping the experience simple and appealing for fans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TICKET STRATEGY & PRICING

  • Design ticketing strategies tailored to each event's format, audience size, and venue.
  • Develop tiered and dynamic pricing models (early bird, group rates, VIP/hospitality, day passes, session passes) to maximize both revenue and attendance.
  • Set pricing benchmarks based on comparable sporting/entertainment events, venue capacity, and historical demand data.
  • Recommend and manage promotional pricing (discount codes, flash sales, member/association pricing) in coordination with marketing.

SALES CHANNELS & DISTRIBUTION

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage the right mix of ticketing platforms and channels — official event website/box office, third-party ticketing platforms, resale/secondary markets, on-site sales, and partnerships with member associations or local promoters.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with ticketing platform providers, including fee structures, integration requirements, and service levels.
  • Oversee channel-specific performance and reallocate focus/budget toward the highest-converting channels.
  • Coordinate international ticket distribution where events attract cross-border audiences, accounting for currency, language, and local payment preferences.

REVENUE & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Own ticket sales revenue targets for each event and track performance against budget and forecasts
  • Build and maintain sales dashboards/reports tracking sell-through rate, revenue by channel and tier, and conversion trends.
  • Analyse past event data to refine pricing and channel strategy for future events.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (hospitality packages, merchandise bundles, multi-event passes).

MARKETING & FAN ENGAGEMENT COLLABORATION

  • Work with the marketing team to align ticket on-sale dates, campaigns, and promotions with broader event communications.
  • Support the creation of compelling ticket offers and messaging that speak to different audience segments (families, die-hard fans, corporate/hospitality buyers, member association delegations).
  • Gather and relay fan feedback on the ticket-buying experience to continuously improve the process.

OPERATIONS & STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION

  • Coordinate with venue operators and organizing committees on seating maps, capacity limits, accessibility requirements, and accreditation/complimentary ticket allocations.
  • Manage on-site or day-of ticketing operations and box office logistics where required.
  • Ensure ticketing systems are compliant with relevant consumer protection, data privacy, and payment regulations across markets.
  • Serve as the point of contact for ticketing-related queries from member associations, sponsors, and partners.

REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIALS:

  • 3+ years of experience in ticketing, box office management, or event revenue/commercial roles, ideally within sports, live events, or entertainment.
  • Proven track record designing pricing and channel strategies that grew ticket sales or revenue.
  • Experience with ticketing platforms (e.g. Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, SeatGeek, Tixstock, or similar) and their back-end reporting tools.
  • Experience working with international or multi-market events is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for global events (50% travel).

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset — comfortable working with sales data, pricing models, and forecasts.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for managing platform and partner relationships.
  • Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with events, marketing, finance, and external partners.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with tight event timelines.
  • Genuine interest in sport and live events; familiarity with table tennis or racket sports is an advantage but not required.

DESIRABLES:

  • Experience with dynamic/demand-based pricing tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms used to drive ticket sales.
  • Multilingual skills, given the international nature of table tennis events.
