Do you have a great eye for spotting brands, trends and high-value garments – and know what customers are looking for online? We're recruiting for a charitable organisation looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded eCommerce Fashion Team Leader to join their busy warehouse operation in Batley. This isn't your traditional warehouse Team Leader role. You'll be leading a team responsible for identifying the best, most desirable and most valuable donated fashion items and ensuring they are selected for the eCommerce operation. Your knowledge of fashion trends, brands and online retail will directly contribute to maximising sales and generating vital income for the charity. About the Role Every day, significant volumes of donated clothing arrive at the warehouse. Your team will be responsible for sorting through this stock and identifying the items with the greatest potential for online sales. You'll use your fashion knowledge and commercial judgement to ensure the right products make their way into the eCommerce operation, helping the organisation achieve the best possible return from every donation. You'll lead, motivate and develop the team while ensuring the operation runs efficiently and consistently. Your Key Responsibilities People Leadership Lead and motivate Team Members, listers, assistant listers, agency workers, volunteers, placements and corporate groups. Set clear expectations and monitor team performance against agreed KPIs. Coach and develop team members to improve productivity and quality. Address performance issues appropriately and support formal processes where required. Ensure teams are fully trained, supported and kept informed. Fashion & eCommerce Operations Oversee the daily sorting and selection of donated garments for eCommerce. Identify high-value, desirable and commercially saleable fashion items . Keep up to date with current fashion trends, brands, styles and consumer demand. Ensure the sorting team understands what products are likely to perform well online. Make informed decisions around stock selection, pricing, bundling, relisting and reductions. Ensure product quality and presentation meet eCommerce standards. Support photography, listing, fulfilment, dispatch and returns operations. Monitor online stock and ensure inventory is accurate and effectively managed. Commercial Awareness Maximise the sales potential of donated stock. Identify opportunities to increase revenue through effective product selection and routing. Decide when stock should be directed towards eCommerce, wholesale, recycling, reduction or other sales channels. Support new product initiatives and workstreams as required. Monitor performance and use data and commercial insight to improve results. Operational Management Plan and coordinate daily workflows across sorting, photography, listing, dispatch, inventory and related activities. Ensure adequate staffing and resources are available to meet operational targets. Process both B2B and B2C orders efficiently. Support wider warehouse operations when required. Ensure operational targets for listings, sales, quality and dispatch are achieved.

Who We're Looking For This role requires more than traditional warehouse experience . We're looking for someone with a genuine understanding of fashion and online retail who can combine commercial awareness with strong people-management skills. You may have worked as a: Fashion Retail Manager eCommerce Team Leader Online Fashion Buyer Fashion Merchandiser eCommerce Supervisor Online Retail Manager Fashion Store Manager Vintage Clothing Specialist Reseller / Online Fashion Seller Stock & Product Specialist

You'll Need: Strong fashion knowledge and awareness of current trends. Excellent understanding of what makes fashion products desirable and commercially valuable online . Experience working within eCommerce, online retail or fashion . Previous experience supervising or leading a team. Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of pricing and product selection. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Confidence using IT systems and online platforms. The ability to analyse stock and make decisions based on commercial potential. A positive, supportive approach to managing a diverse team.
