Co-Founder, Fundraising & Investor Relations

Equity

10% equity ownership in the Company, subject to a standard 4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff.

Bootstrapping Contribution

Every founder is required to contribute a non-refundable deposit of One Million Naira (₦1,000,000) into the Company account within 14 days of joining. This confirms financial commitment. In addition, founders are expected to contribute time, effort, and further resources as needed until external investment is secured. No salary will be paid until the Company is adequately funded.

Role Overview

You will own the Company’s fundraising and investor relations function. This includes raising capital, managing relationships with current and prospective investors, preparing investor materials, and supporting the capital strategy that allows Brik to acquire properties and scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all fundraising activities (pre-seed and beyond)
• Build and manage relationships with angels, funds, and strategic investors
• Prepare and maintain pitch decks, investor updates, financial summaries, and data rooms
• Coordinate outreach, meetings, due diligence, and deal processes
• Communicate Company progress, traction, and strategy clearly to investors
• Work closely with the CEO and other founders on capital allocation and long-term financing plans
• Support structuring of investment terms in coordination with legal advisors
• Represent Brik professionally to the investment community
• Help maintain transparency and strong investor experience

Reporting & Collaboration

You will work directly with the CEO and the founding team. Major decisions on fundraising strategy and terms will be made collectively by the founders.

This role is for someone who wants real ownership, is comfortable with the risk and responsibility of an early-stage company, and is motivated to help build a platform that moves millions from only paying rent to actual ownership.
