Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and coordinate electrical works for construction and M&E projects.
  • Prepare electrical drawings, technical submissions, method statements, calculations, and material submissions.
  • Review and coordinate electrical shop drawings with consultants, clients, architects, and other trades.
  • Supervise and monitor electrical installation works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant Singapore Standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and installation schedules.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate technical matters with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
  • Ensure all electrical works comply with SS, IEC, BCA, EMA, SCDF, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements where applicable.
  • Prepare progress reports, inspection records, testing & commissioning reports, and other project documentation.
  • Assist in quantity take-off, cost estimation, variation works, and progress claims.
  • Identify technical issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
  • Ensure electrical works are completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in electrical construction / M&E projects is preferred.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, data centre, or building projects will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, LV/MV distribution, power, lighting, containment, earthing, and testing & commissioning.
  • Able to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and supervise site activities.
  • Willing to work on construction sites and support project requirements when necessary.
