The role
Victron Energy is looking for a Product design Engineer to strengthen the HS19 team, which is responsible for a new generation of high-voltage 3-phase battery charger/inverter systems. The HS19 product range was introduced in mid-2026, starting with a 15kW system featuring four high-voltage MPPT solar trackers. A 30kW version (without solar capability) is currently in its final design phase, with additional products already planned.
Victron Energy is looking for a product design engineer who is enthusiastic about designing and introducing these new products into the market. In the meantime, help make the current products in the market a success by constant maintenance and improvements.
Responsibilities
- Development of new versions in the current product range.
- Keeping a good and clear overview of the entire product range. Determine if and which changes should be implemented and determine priorities.
- First contact person for product related questions from the factory.
- Checking and approving alternative components / second source components.
- Coordinating required product changes, including updates to PCBs, electronic components, mechanics, cables, product stickers, and related items.
