Commodity Buyer - Linköping

We are looking for an experienced person with good communication skills and with proven experience of purchasing roles with negotiations and supplier contacts. As Commodity Buyer you need to be well structured and have high engagement to finalize work before agreed deadlines, you need to handle many open tasks in different areas at the same.

To succeed you should have a bachelor degree in economics, purchasing, logistics, engineering or other relevant education for the role. You need skills in IT, PLM and ERP systems, Sharepoint end good Office skills.

You will be extra successful if you have experience of purchasing in electronic components area. The scope for this role is passive electronic componets e.g. resistors, capacitors etc, you have collegues within this category in all sites in Veoneer globally.

As a Commodity Buyer you will manage supplier meetings, negotiations, manage projectbuys and risk analysis etc.

You will also operative tasks such as orderplacement, handling allokaded material, handling of supplier database for your assigned suppliers that you are leadbuyer for, invoice and price management and analys of volume/price etc data in excel. Our purpose is to create trust in mobility. We design and build state-of-the-art hardware, software, and solutions for active safety, ADAS, autonomous driving, restraint control and brake control.
