Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PaaS Cloud Environments Manager to manage and support Oracle Cloud environments within a large-scale enterprise Oracle Cloud programme.

The programme supports live HR, ERP and EPM services used by more than 20,000 users. The role will focus on managing Oracle PaaS environments, supporting live services and enhancements, administering Oracle Cloud environments, and supporting monthly and quarterly Oracle upgrades.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PaaS tenancy management, networking, security and environment configuration .

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer Oracle PaaS Cloud tenancies .
  • Manage Oracle Cloud environments through the OCI Console .
  • Provision and configure Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen 3 instances .
  • Configure required services and integrations within OIC.
  • Implement secure IP whitelisting and network access controls.
  • Configure load balancers with strict ACLs .
  • Configure connectivity between Oracle environments and SFTP servers .
  • Create and manage users within OCI and OIC .
  • Create service accounts and assign appropriate groups and permissions.
  • Configure confidential applications for secure integration with SaaS environments.
  • Implement network configuration changes to support connectivity from source systems.
  • Deploy and manage SSH, PGP and X.509 certificates/keys for SFTP named accounts.
  • Support Oracle Cloud environment cloning and related environment management activities.
  • Maintain appropriate security and access controls across PaaS environments.
  • Document and audit all environment and configuration changes.
  • Support Oracle monthly and quarterly upgrade activities.
  • Work with technical and integration teams to troubleshoot PaaS environment issues.

Programme Context

The Oracle Cloud programme went live in October 2024 across:

  • Human Resources (HR)
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

The platform supports 20,000+ users and is now focused on live-service support, enhancements, Oracle upgrades and extending the platform footprint to additional business entities.

Required Skills

  • Strong Oracle PaaS Cloud tenancy administration experience.
  • Strong Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience.
  • Hands-on OCI Console administration.
  • Strong Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience, particularly Gen 3.
  • Experience provisioning and configuring OIC instances.
  • Experience with IP whitelisting and network configuration .
  • Experience with load balancers and ACLs .
  • Experience with SSO and secure access management .
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud environment cloning .
  • Experience managing OCI/OIC users, groups and service accounts.
  • Experience configuring confidential applications.
  • Strong understanding of SFTP connectivity and security.
  • Experience with SSH, PGP and X.509 keys/certificates .
  • Strong documentation, audit and change management experience.
  • Experience supporting live Oracle Cloud environments and upgrades.
