Position Summary

Ulmo AS is looking for a skilled Pipefitter / Welder to join our technical team in Ålesund.

In this role, you will work on a wide variety of industrial and infrastructure projects across Norway. Your work will involve the fabrication, installation, and welding of pipe systems and steel structures for industrial installations.

The position offers a combination of hands-on technical work, project variety, and opportunities for professional development within a growing technology company.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication and installation of piping systems and steel structures according to technical drawings

-

Welding according to established procedures (TIG, MIG/MAG, and electrode welding)

Mechanical assembly of components and technical installations

-

Performing quality control and documenting completed work

-

Maintenance and repair of industrial installations and equipment

-

Actively contributing to safety standards and continuous improvement processes

Collaborating with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and on schedule

Required Qualifications

-

Experience as an industrial pipefitter, mechanic, or welder

-

A technical diploma or vocational qualification is an advantage, but relevant experience is equally valued

-

Valid driver's license (Category B)

-

Willingness to travel occasionally for project work

-

Good communication skills in English and willingness to learn Norwegian

Working Hours

Ulmo AS normally operates on a 40-hour work week.

For some roles, a rotation schedule (4 weeks on / 2 weeks off) may also be possible.
