Supervisory Realty Specialist

About the Position: Incumbent serves as an Intelligence Community (IC) Realty Officer performing major duties in coordination with global operational contracting resources within a highly secure environment. This position is recognized as a technical expert providing real property support to the IC whose primary mission is to collect and convey essential information for the President and members of the policy making, law enforcement, and military communities.

Major duties

• Exercise technical and administrative supervision over civilian professional, technical, and administrative positions.
• Oversee the USACE real estate leasing program for highly secure and classified facilities.
• Act as a Real Estate Contracting Officer for the approval and execution of realty actions.
• Resolve issues impacting the timely execution of real property support for customers.
• Provide technical oversight, advice, and direction on real estate matters to government and secure community clients.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Executing real estate acquisition and management requirements for stakeholders; 2) Applying relevant laws, regulations or policies to execute real estate actions; 3) Conducting complex real estate negotiations, such as leases, licenses, easements or permits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contracting/Procurement Leadership Problem Solving Real Estate Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
