The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, invites applications for a Postdoctoral position in operator algebras with a focus on the structure and classification of C*-dynamical systems. The starting date is January 1, 2027 or a nearby date. The duration of the position is 2 years. The hired candidate will be mentored by Jamie Gabe .

About the position In connection with the Carlsberg Foundation - Semper Ardens: Accelerate grant “Classifying finite and infinite C*-dynamics” held by Jamie Gabe, we are opening a 2-year postdoc position for a young researcher with a research profile in operator algebras. The standard Danish salary is very competitive, and the position also includes a travel budget of 2000 € per year.
