At Strivo Global Ventures, we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Officer to support financial operations across our growing business group.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of financial discipline, and knows that great finance goes beyond bookkeeping — it is about protecting resources, improving visibility, supporting decisions, and ensuring businesses operate profitably.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing day-to-day financial records, bookkeeping and transaction documentation across the group.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate income, expenditure and cash flow records.
- Monitoring client invoices, payments, outstanding receivables and supplier obligations.
- Supporting invoicing, billing, payment follow-ups and revenue reconciliation.
- *Preparing monthly financial reports, management accounts and budget-versus-actual analyses.
- Monitoring business expenses, operational costs and departmental budgets.
- Supporting payroll processing, staff payment schedules and payroll reconciliations.
- Managing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Supporting tax, VAT, pension and other statutory financial obligations in collaboration with relevant advisers.
- Maintaining proper documentation for financial transactions, approvals and audit trails.
- Supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost-control initiatives.
- Identifying discrepancies, financial risks and opportunities to improve financial efficiency.
- Working closely with management, HR, operations and business units to ensure financial accountability.
Who We’re Looking For
- A degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of relevant finance, accounting or financial administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing and financial reporting.
- Excellent Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- Experience with accounting software and digital financial systems.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and take ownership of financial processes.
Professional accounting qualifications such as ICAN or ACCA, or progress towards them, are an advantage.
