Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Driver to support the transportation and logistics requirements of a major hospital development project in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of project personnel, documents, equipment and other authorized items, while maintaining the assigned company vehicle in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport company personnel, project staff and authorized visitors to and from project sites, offices, meetings and other locations.
• Transport documents, equipment, tools and other authorized items as required.
• Ensure timely arrival at designated locations according to assigned schedules.
• Plan suitable routes and monitor traffic conditions to ensure efficient transportation.
• Conduct daily checks of the assigned vehicle, including tires, lights, fuel, engine condition and other basic safety items.
• Maintain the vehicle in clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
• Arrange regular servicing, maintenance and repairs in accordance with company requirements.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic incidents or maintenance issues promptly to the relevant supervisor.
• Maintain proper records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel, servicing and other required information.
• Comply with Singapore traffic laws, road safety requirements and company driving policies.
• Ensure all transported items are properly secured during transportation.
• Assist with basic loading and unloading of documents, equipment or authorized items where required.
• Support project and administrative teams with ad-hoc transportation duties.
• Maintain confidentiality when transporting company documents or personnel.
• Perform other driving and logistics-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving license.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience in Singapore.
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Experience driving company vehicles for construction companies or project personnel will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Singapore roads, traffic conditions and major construction areas.
• Good knowledge of vehicle safety and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable and safety-conscious.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work flexible hours and respond to project transportation requirements when required.
• Willing to perform occasional overtime, early morning or late-hour driving duties depending on project requirements.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
