IT Administrator
Speed Odds is looking for a hands-on and service-oriented IT Administrator to join our growing team in Yerevan.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day IT environment for our employees and office, including computers, software, user accounts, networking, peripherals, and technical support.
You will ensure that employees have the hardware, software, access, and technical support they need to work effectively. You will also manage employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain IT inventory, troubleshoot workstation and network issues, and coordinate with external IT and technology vendors when required.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working directly with employees, troubleshooting technical issues independently, and managing a growing company's IT environment.
Set up and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, phones, and other employee equipment
Install, configure, update, and maintain software on employee workstations
Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and access to company applications
Provision and deprovision employee accounts during onboarding and offboarding
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
Provide day-to-day technical support to employees
Maintain office Wi-Fi, LAN, printers, meeting-room equipment, and other IT infrastructure
Configure and troubleshoot network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points
Maintain and manage IT asset and equipment inventories
Manage software licenses and subscriptions
Ensure employee workstations are properly updated and patched
Assist with endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, device encryption, and security policies
Implement and maintain workstation configuration standards
Support remote-access and VPN solutions
Troubleshoot common DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and network connectivity issues
Coordinate with internet service providers, hardware vendors, software vendors, and other external IT providers
Maintain IT documentation, procedures, asset records, and troubleshooting guides
Assist with office technology setup, including meeting rooms, video conferencing, printers, and shared equipment
Support employees with common productivity tools and business applications
Identify recurring technical problems and implement solutions to reduce support requests
Work closely with the DevOps and Security teams on infrastructure and endpoint-related issues
Support IT requirements as the company and engineering team grow
3+ years of professional experience in IT administration, IT support, systems administration, or a related role
Strong experience administering Windows workstations and Windows environments
Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop and business software
Experience with user account and access management
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and basic routing
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems
Experience managing laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment
Experience with Microsoft 365 or similar productivity platforms
Experience with endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, patch management, and device security
Experience managing IT assets and software licenses
Experience with remote support and troubleshooting tools
Good understanding of information security and secure IT practices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good written and spoken English
