Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Oversee daily income, expenditure, payments and receipts.
• Ensure proper documentation of sales, purchases and other financial activities.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management accounts and monthly financial performance reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and ensure proper reconciliation of bank accounts and financial records.
• Develop annual and periodic budgets in collaboration with management.
• Identify unnecessary expenditure and recommend cost-control measures.
• Establish and maintain internal financial controls.
• Ensure that company funds are used appropriately.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Finance or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting or financial management experience.
• A professional accounting qualification such as ICAN or ACCA is an advantage.
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgets and management reports.
• Experience in cash-flow management, financial reconciliation and internal controls.
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax requirements and statutory financial obligations.
