Senior QC Analyst

Smart4Sciences is recruiting for a Senior QC Analyst to join one of the UK's leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturers. The Role
As a Senior QC Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Quality Control activities through the validation, verification, and execution of analytical methods. Working within a collaborative laboratory team, you will help ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of raw materials, components, and finished pharmaceutical products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing analytical method validation and verification studies
- Performing routine analysis using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, and UV
- Supporting the monitoring of raw materials, components, in-process samples, and finished products
- Preparing validation protocols, reports, and technical documentation
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, Health & Safety, and COSHH requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the QC laboratory
- Assisting with laboratory investigations and troubleshooting activities where required
The Candidate
We are keen to speak with candidates who possess:
- A degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated laboratory environment
- Demonstrable experience in analytical method validation and/or verification
- Knowledge of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC, GC, and UV
- A strong understanding of GMP, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and scientific problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience would be advantageous
