General Operative Ballycommon Sizewell C

Job Responsibilities

• Assist groundworkers, plant operators, concrete finishers and other trades with day-to-day site activities.
• Carry out general labouring duties across the concrete substation work area.
• Load, unload and safely move materials, tools and equipment around site.
• Prepare and maintain work areas, keeping them clean, safe and organised.
• Assist with concrete pours, curing operations and general reinforced concrete activities.
• Support excavation, drainage, ducting and other civils operations as directed.
• Install and remove temporary barriers, signage and protection where required.
• Carry out manual handling tasks safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and site management.
• Comply with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Green CSCS Labourer Card (or higher).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Banksman/Vehicle Marshal or other relevant site qualifications.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a labourer on civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Experience working on reinforced concrete or heavy civils projects.
