High-Performance Filtration Systems (Cement & Mining Industry)

Location: Flexible (Europe preferred)

Company: Simatek A/S

Drive Advanced Filtration Engineering in Cement & Mining Production

Simatek A/S is seeking a technically strong and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the deployment of our Simatek filter technology across the global cement & Mining industry.

This role targets cement & Mining producers, OEMs, OMS/EPC contractors, and system integrators, where success depends on deep process understanding, gas-solid separation expertise, and the ability to translate process data into optimized filtration solutions.

Your Role

You will act as a technical authority in air pollution control and dry gas cleaning, responsible for positioning Simatek filters in critical cement & mining applications including kiln exhaust, clinker coolers, raw mills, coal mills, and material handling systems.

You will work at the intersection of process engineering, fluid dynamics, and filtration technology, supporting customers in achieving:

Low emission levels typical 2 - 5 mg/Nm³ emission levels

High filtration efficiency across varying dust loads and particle size distributions

Reduced pressure drop and optimized specific energy consumption (kWh/1000 Nm³)

Maximum uptime and extended filter media lifetime

Key Responsibilities

Drive global sales and technical positioning of Simatek filter systems in cement applications

Engage with OEMs, and EPC/OMS integrators at both engineering and decision-making levels

Deliver application-specific filtration design support, including:

Filtration velocity and air-to-cloth ratio optimization

Dust load calculations (g/Nm³) and peak load scenarios

Particle size distribution (PSD) and abrasiveness analysis

Gas parameters: temperature profiles, dew point margins, and corrosive components (SOx, NOx, HCl)

Define and optimize:

Filter housing design and compartmentalization

Cleaning systems (pulse-jet parameters, ΔP control strategies)

Media selection (e.g., PPS, aramid, PTFE мемbrane, glass fiber) based on thermal and chemical exposure

Evaluate and position solutions versus alternative technologies:

ESP vs fabric filters vs hybrid/compact systems

Support CFD-informed layouts and flow distribution considerations (in collaboration with engineering)

Participate in technical bid evaluations, specifications review, and guarantee negotiations

Identify retrofit and upgrade opportunities:

Capacity debottlenecking

ΔP reduction programs

Media lifetime optimization and OPEX reduction

Provide on-site technical support during commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation

Stay ahead of BAT conclusions, EU IED compliance, and global emission legislation trends

Your Profile

Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical Engineering or similar

Strong experience in industrial filtration, dust collection, or gas cleaning systems

Proven expertise in cement process units and gas handling systems

Solid understanding of:

Gas flow dynamics and particulate behavior

Filtration mechanisms (inertial impaction, diffusion, interception)

Pressure drop development and filter cake dynamics

Practical experience with:

Fabric Bag House Filters and cyclones

Process data interpretation (flow rates, ΔP curves, emissions data)

Ability to read and challenge:

P&IDs, GA drawings, layout constraints, and equipment specifications

Experience working with EPCs, OEMs, and integrators in heavy industry environments

Strong commercial acumen with ability to lead complex technical negotiations

Willingness to travel internationally (30–50%)

Fluent in English
