Your character – a proactive and serviceminded assistant with sharp administrative skills We are looking for someone with some years of experience as an assistant and with administrative work. A good understanding of the challenges that come with the job is required, as is having a good track record of handling senior leaders/stakeholders and experience from working in an industrial company, business-to-business, and in a multi-cultural, international setting. You have a thorough way of working and a true appreciation for getting the details right. We value your familiarity with creating Power Point Presentations, as well as with the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite. As we operate in an international setting, you have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Speaking and writing German is considered an advantage.

For our location at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Stockholm we are now looking for an Assistant to Vice President Finance and IT and General Counsel. In this position, you report to Vice President Finance and IT, but split your time evenly between supporting VP Finance and IT and General Counsel.

Your mission – deliver first class support to enable effective management planning As Assistant to Vice President Finance and IT you support VP Finance and IT and General Counsel with his/her agenda, you perform administrative tasks to off load and support, and you play an important role in supporting the finance and legal management teams by ensuring that the teams have the tools they need to work effectively in a high tempo environment. You assist VP Finance and IT and General Counsel daily, both in their communication flows (e-mail, telephone) and by supporting effective agenda- and time management including travel arrangements. You also write and document information from meetings in a concise and high quality manner, and you assist the managers and the teams in the follow-up process to meet the actions and deadlines established. In addition, you structure larger meetings within the finance and legal communities within Sandvik Machining Solutions. In this position, a limited amount of planned travel within Sweden, mostly to Sandviken, is required.
