Restorative aide

Responsibilities & Duties

Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.

Monitor and record patients' progress and report changes to the healthcare team.

Prepare and clean therapy equipment and treatment areas.

Support patients in performing daily tasks to restore independence.

Transport patients to various therapy sessions within the facility.

Educate patients and families on the recovery process and home exercises.

Help with developing and implementing individualized patient care plans.

Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their recovery journey.

Restorative Aide Qualifications & Skills

Experience in rehabilitation or therapy settings.

Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency in basic patient care techniques.

Familiarity with patient care documentation processes.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of a nursing assistant or related certification program.

Ability to lift and transport patients safely.

Basic knowledge of restorative techniques and equipment.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

CNA certification
