Mechanic wanted for the fishing industry in Northern Norway
Are you an experienced mechanic who likes hands-on work? For our client in the fishing industry, we are looking for a skilled and motivated mechanic.
The workplace is located in the northernmost part of Norway, surrounded by fjords and beautiful coastal nature.
About the position
You will work with a wide range of tasks, including:
- General maintenance
- Welding
- Replacing valves
- Construction work
- Mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
The work is mainly during the day. A rotation schedule can be arranged for the right person.
What we're looking for
- Practical experience is more important than formal education
- Experience with welding and mechanical work
- You can solve problems on your own
- You work in a structured and efficient way, even when it's busy
- You can communicate in Norwegian or English
