About the company

Tax & Accounts Manager (3–6-month Fixed Term Contract) A well-established accountancy practice in Hungerford is seeking an experienced Tax & Accounts Manager to provide senior support during a busy tax season.

Your tasks

This role offers a varied workload across accounts and tax, with responsibility for reviewing and finalising work and supporting the partners through a key compliance period.

• Review and finalise statutory accounts
• Review and complete corporation tax returns
• Review and complete personal tax returns
• Support a portfolio of owner-managed business clients
• Work closely with the partners on technical and compliance matters
• Help manage workflow through the busy season

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Strong UK accountancy practice background
• Experience reviewing and finalising accounts
• Good knowledge of corporation tax and personal tax
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Available to start within the coming weeks
