Your tasks

Rae?s Bistro is looking for an outstanding, experienced hospitality professional to join our team as Assistant General Manager. We?re seeking a confident floor leader who brings warmth, sound judgment, and a commitment to exceptional service.

The role Working closely with the General Manager and kitchen leadership, you will:

• Lead daily service with an active, visible presence on the floor.
• Coach and develop our front-of-house team through clear expectations, practical training, and consistent feedback.
• Build guest relationships and handle concerns with professionalism and care.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staff performance.
• Help manage labour, inventory, ordering, and service standards.
• Strengthen communication between front and back of house.
• Take ownership of the details?from opening readiness to a thorough close.

Requirements

You know how to read a room, support a busy team, and make guests feel welcome. You lead by example, follow through on commitments, and understand that a strong restaurant requires both genuine hospitality and disciplined operations.

What you bring

• Proven restaurant management experience in a busy, full-service environment.
• A strong understanding of food, beverage, and the guest experience.
• The ability to lead confidently through a rush while remaining composed and approachable.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort with the administrative side of restaurant management.
• The ability to hold people accountable respectfully and address issues directly.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Pride in your work and a desire to help the people around you succeed.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
