Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of neurodivergent children and their families? Pulse is recruiting for a permanent Clinical Psychologist to join a dedicated and growing Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) based in Keele, Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of specialist autism services, working in a collaborative and forward-thinking clinical environment.

Responsibilities

As a Practitioner Psychologist, you will:

Deliver specialist autism and neurodevelopmental assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people.

Work collaboratively within a diverse MDT including Psychologists, LD Nurses, OTs, SALTs, Paediatricians, Assistants, Trainees, and volunteers.

Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and communicate findings to families and professionals.

Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions for children, families, and carers.

Offer specialist consultation, advice, and training to colleagues and external professionals.

Contribute to service development, evaluation, and audit in collaboration with the research team.

Provide clinical supervision and support to Assistant and Trainee Psychologists.

Qualifications and Experience

We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

Doctorate (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology

HCPC registration

Experience in autism and neurodevelopmental assessment and diagnosis

Skilled in psychometric testing, cognitive/neuropsychological assessments, and clinical formulation

Experience working with children, young people, and families

Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills

Commitment to inclusive and person-centred practice

Enhanced DBS with barred lists required
