Authorizations Specialist (ABA Services)

Location : Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time | On-site Competitive Pay : $28–$35/hour

Join a growing, mission-driven team at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services PLLC and play a key role in helping children access the services they need. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Authorizations Specialist who can take ownership of the insurance authorization process and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your work directly supports timely care for families.

What You’ll Do :

Manage ABA service authorizations from submission through approval

Communicate with insurance companies and payers to obtain and maintain approvals

Keep families informed on authorization status and next steps

Maintain accurate, organized records and documentation

Partner with clinical and admin teams to ensure compliance and efficiency

What You Bring :

Experience with insurance authorizations or healthcare administration (preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)

BCBA certification or in progress is a plus (not required)

Strong communication skills and professionalism with families and payers

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
