Key Duties
- Test, troubleshoot, and validate Generators, BESS, and Power Distribution Systems
- Commission, service, and maintain equipment at project sites
- Uphold all safety and regulatory compliance requirements
- Recommend product improvements drawn from field experience, and support trials of new products
- Coach and train junior engineers and technicians in technical best practices
- Contribute to customer technical discussions and provide expertise on site
- Work with suppliers and vendors on component selection and technical issues
- Lead small project teams through to delivery
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in a related industry
- Solid technical grounding in Generators, Energy Storage Systems, and Power Distribution Equipment
- Background in Field Servicing, Commissioning, or Project Delivery (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead small teams and develop junior staff
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a genuinely hands-on approach
