Occupational Health and Safety Assistant Manager / Manager

JOBS SUMMARY:

Assisting and supporting OH & Safety Manager in ensuring that the management and practice of Occupational Health and Safety operations in the company operations to comply with legal requirements, subscribed international standards, company safety policy and employee safety. This includes loss prevention, health prevention, safety recognition, accident prevention and industrial hygiene.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Establish and maintain fundamental of occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems as required by legal requirements, subscribed standards and safety policy.
2. Establish the annual OH&S planning and annual budget planning of OH&S department.
3. Delegate and ensure basic safety roles and accountability to front line superior in line with safety laws and safety accountability.
4. Establish necessary safety procedures and rules by involving with other concerned personnel and encourage implementing effectively and ensure compliance of procedures and abusing management by working closely with front line management.
5. Monitor, encourage and control to ensure safety practice, compliance and awareness through business operations.
6. Establish plan and act on Occupational Safety activities to comply with legal requirements meet international standards and escalate high level of safety.
7. Manage and act to ensure accident prevention as well as accident investigation and reporting.
8. Manage and act on risk assessment and identify preventive action and safety operating procedures and any applicable measures.
9. Establish plan for safety training and supporting activities to encourage safety in the premise as well as off works.
10. compliance, work permit, risky work permit, and accident prevention & safety awareness activities.
11. Manage and implement safety management systems (ISO 45001)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar or any fields with certificate of Professional Safety Officer. A minimum 5 years experience in Safety Management/tasks, ISO45001 Systems. Good communication skill both Thai and English. Abilities to function Microsoft Office. Strong leadership and decision making.
