Requirements

We are looking for an eager cook with some experience who is passionate about food and drink. Employment is full-time, with wages starting at $200/day + gratuities. We rotate our rota, with regular shifts from 2pm to close, with split shifts that start mid-morning and ending mid-evening. The cuisine focuses on our interpretation of French classics with a Spanish and Korean twist. Experience with fine dining is an asset but not required. Requirements: 3 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen English language proficiency Accurate and efficient in executing assigned tasks Good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Food Safe Certificate Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts is desirable Available to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and complete food preparation items from the menu Cook menu items during service efficiently and to the standards of the executive chef Maintain an organized work environment Uphold sanitation and safety standards Report to and follow instructions as given by the executive or sous chefs Have a positive and professional manner when dealing with co-workers and customers Please drop resumé off in person between 3:00pm ? 5:00pm to: 265 Pender St East, Vancouver, B.C.
